Signal Path

Shoot It Here. Transmit It Everywhere.

A plethora of player and team laptops, every camera, every caster feed — all routed through one control room. From there it goes two directions at once: distributed throughout the entire building, and transmitted live to any platform, anywhere in the country.

Players and teams plug in from a plethora of laptops on the floor. Gameplay, cameras, casters, interviews, podcast and creator suite feeds from both studios — all of it lands in L6 at once.

From L6, the program goes two ways: back out across every screen in the building — exterior displays, the LED board, monitors in every room — and out live to any platform, all over the country.

Core Positioning

Honest About Where We Are.
Confident About Where This Goes.

Shear Media Studios wasn't originally designed as an esports arena. It was designed to be something more flexible. And almost everything we've done since opening has moved us closer to exactly what a serious esports tournament needs.

We are not positioning SMS as an established esports arena yet. We are building toward becoming a Tampa Bay destination for small- to mid-sized esports tournaments, collegiate competitions, invitationals, league events, creator tournaments, and live gaming productions.

And we're looking for our first dedicated esports partner to build the first one with us.

The Venue

The Whole Building
Is the Tournament.

Studio G isn't the product — the entire building is. Players who aren't competing can still be gaming elsewhere. Creators stream. Teams make content. A player can leave the competition floor and walk straight into a professionally lit interview room.

We don't say
"We've never done esports before."
We say
"Our first dedicated esports partner."

For the right partner, we're willing to collaborate closely on venue configuration, production workflow, technology, and economics.

We're not looking for somebody interested in renting a room. We're looking for somebody who wants to build the first one with us.
