Studio G is the answer to productions that have outgrown everything else available in Tampa Bay. At 5,700 square feet with three bay doors, it's a stage built for the work that can't fit anywhere else — large set builds, broadcast events, long-term installs, and commercial productions that need room to operate at full scale.

The Productions That Use This Space.

Studio G has hosted pharmaceutical commercials that required full practical sets and a medical-grade production environment. It has hosted broadcast events where a live audience was present while a simultaneous stream was produced from the L6 Control Room. It has hosted major film productions and corporate productions that needed a stage large enough to accommodate leadership panels, product displays, audience seating, and a full production crew operating simultaneously.

It has also hosted long-term set installations — productions that build a set in Studio G and leave it standing between shooting days.

Three Bay Doors Change the Load-In Equation.

The three bay doors at Studio G are not a detail. For productions that move large equipment — a lighting truck, a set piece too large to carry through a standard door, a vehicle that needs to be shot in the studio — the bay doors are what makes Studio G the right choice.

Bay door access is a production infrastructure feature, not an amenity. It matters on load-in day, on strike day, and on any day where equipment is moving in or out of the space. If your production involves large equipment, Studio G has the access.

What to Bring to the First Conversation.

When inquiring about Studio G, come with the basics of your production: what you're making, the rough shooting day count, the number of people on set, whether you need the full control room connection for live production or streaming, whether you're planning a long-term set build, and what your load-in equipment situation looks like.

We strongly recommend a facility tour before committing to a booking. The 5,700 sq. ft. of Studio G is more intuitive when you're standing on the floor than when you're reading a number on a website. Contact Shear Media Studios at (727) 540-9800 or visit shearmediastudios.com to schedule a tour.
