Green Screen Studio Rental in Tampa Bay
Studio A at Shear Media Studios is Tampa Bay's professional green screen studio — maintained chroma key surface, overhead lighting grid, and ~3,000 sq. ft. of production space designed for commercial, corporate, and broadcast work that requires a clean key.
What a Professional Green Screen Studio Actually Requires
Green screen that keys cleanly in post needs three things: a smooth, well-maintained surface; even, controlled lighting from overhead positions; and enough room between the talent and the backdrop to prevent green spill. A portable backdrop on stands in a small room is not a professional green screen studio.
Studio A at Shear Media Studios is configured specifically for chroma key production. The overhead lighting grid allows fixtures to be positioned at the angles and distances that produce even surface illumination — not hot spots, not falloff at the edges, not spill onto the subject. The surface is maintained for consistent chroma key performance across the full shooting area.

Green Screen vs. Cyclorama: Which Does Your Production Need?
Green screen replaces the background in post — the subject is shot against the chroma key surface, and a compositor keys out the green and places the intended background behind them. Cyclorama creates a seamless, infinite neutral background in camera — no post-compositing required, just a clean gradient or solid color that reads as a designed background.
Studio A supports both configurations. If your production needs traditional green screen for product visualization, pharmaceutical commercial plates, lifestyle backgrounds, or VFX work, the green screen configuration is the right setup. If you need a clean neutral background that photographs as infinite — for executive portraits, brand imagery, or broadcast interview formats — the cyclorama is available in the same space.
Green Screen Productions That Use Studio A
Commercial productions using green screen in Studio A include: pharmaceutical and healthcare commercials where talent is composited onto treatment facility or lifestyle environments; automotive and retail spots where talent or product is placed against branded backgrounds; corporate video where interview subjects need to appear in branded virtual environments; and broadcast productions that use virtual sets or graphic backgrounds.
