Tampa Bay Film Studio Options
Most productions in Tampa Bay rent studio space that was designed for something else — a warehouse, a photography space, or a converted commercial building. Shear Media Studios was built as a production facility. The overhead grids, the control room hardwire, the loading access, and the production support spaces (greenroom, hair/makeup, kitchen, video village) are not afterthoughts.

What Film Productions Need That Studio G Provides
Film productions typically require more space than corporate video: room for crew, camera department, lighting packages, and practical set pieces that don't fit in smaller stages. Studio G's three bay doors allow production vehicles, camera cars, grip trucks, and large props to be driven directly onto the stage floor. The overhead grid accommodates the rigging requirements of a full lighting package.
For productions that need a control room — live events, hybrid shoots, streaming, multi-camera — L6 is hardwired to both stages.
Film Production Support Spaces
Both studios are supported by the 11,000 sq. ft. facility: greenroom, dedicated hair and makeup space, kitchen, workshop, changing areas, and video village. Long-term set builds and recurring productions can arrange reserved staging within the facility.
