Two Creators walk into nab…

A college kid and a grizzled production vet walk into a product reveal at NAB in Vegas. One’s wearing a hoodie and filming everything on a cracked iPhone. The other’s got a battered Pelican case and stories from when you actually needed film to make a film. Thirty years between them—but they sit down, start talking, and it just clicks.

Why? Because underneath the generational armor—TikTok slang, old-school cynicism—they speak the same language: production. They’ve both missed meals for the shot. Both know the adrenaline of pulling off the impossible on set. Doesn’t matter if it’s for vertical video or a broadcast spot—story is still story, hustle is still hustle. And in a world chasing the next shiny object, they both get what really matters: make the day, tell the truth, don’t fake the funk.

At Shear Media Studios, we’re building a space where these two worlds meet—because the future of content belongs to those who know how to talk to each other, even if they shoot on different gear.
