Shear Media Studios’ EVENTS
More Than a Blank Canvas: Tampa’s Most Versatile Production & Event Studio
There are plenty of places that call themselves studios.
Some do podcasts well.
Some rent spaces for photo shoots.
A few offer livestreaming with a control room.
But when we set out to build Shear Media Studios in Tampa, Florida, we had a different idea.
We didn’t want to build a studio.
We wanted to build a creative production campus — a place where podcasts, television production, photography, live streaming, influencer content, and large-scale events could all happen in the same building.
Because when creators, brands, and production teams need to move fast, they shouldn’t have to move locations.
A Production Studio That Transforms Overnight
Let me give you a real example.
Last week 1,200 people filled Studio G.
Not for a film shoot.
For a full nightclub-style event production.
Lighting rigs.
Four DJs.
Concert-level sound.
Indoor and outdoor activations.
It was Desire’s event on February 27, and Studio G became a full audiovisual experience.
Then something remarkable happened.
Twelve hours later, the entire studio was reset to a blank canvas.
Two days later, that same space became a television production set:
Five cameras
25-person crew
Brand new painted set
Fully redesigned lighting grid
Three-day broadcast shoot
Same studio.
Completely different production.
That’s the difference between a rental space and a purpose-built production facility.
Built for Real Production Logistics
When you’re producing content — whether it’s a broadcast, commercial shoot, podcast network, or live shopping show — the reality is simple:
Creativity depends on infrastructure.
If the tools aren’t there, the creative slows down.
That’s why Shear Media Studios was designed around production logistics, including:
Overhead lighting grids in Studio A and Studio G
Dedicated power drops for lighting and AV
Broadcast switching capabilities
Clean audio routing for multi-camera productions
Remote guest integration for livestream shows
Flexible set-building space
Professional production support
Because when the infrastructure works, production teams can focus on the story.
Multiple Studios. One Connected Creative Facility.
What makes Shear Media Studios unique is how every production space connects to the next.
You can start with a small shoot and scale up without leaving the building.
Podcast Studios
Professional podcast recording spaces with broadcast-ready audio and video.
Influencer & Live Shopping Studio
A pre-lit three-camera influencer studio designed specifically for livestream shopping and social content production.
Studio A
A large professional production stage ideal for commercial shoots, branded content, and broadcast filming.
Studio G
Our largest studio space, built for:
Large productions
Multi-camera television shoots
Brand activations
Experiential events
Lighting and AV installations
Fully Connected Production Environment
All studios connect to the facility’s production ecosystem, including:
Control room switching
Live streaming capabilities
Multi-room production setups
Flexible set design environments
You can literally walk a production team through the building and design an entire content ecosystem for the day.
Podcast in the morning.
Commercial shoot in the afternoon.
Event that evening.
All in one place.
A Studio Built for Events, Productions, and Content Creation
Productions are one thing.
Events are a whole different challenge.
When Shear Media Studios was designed, we wanted the building to support high-impact events with full production capabilities, including:
DJ performances and music events
Brand activations
corporate productions and launches
immersive lighting installations
livestreamed events and broadcasts
hybrid productions (event + broadcast)
That’s exactly what happened with the Desire event on February 27.
The studio transitioned from a broadcast-style livestream set to a full AV event experience in less than two days.
Few venues can make that transformation happen.
Designed for Creators, Brands, and Production Teams
Most studios are designed around a single purpose.
Podcast studios do podcasts.
Event venues do events.
Production stages do filming.
Shear Media Studios was designed to do all of it.
Creators can:
Shoot photography and headshots
Film commercial content
Record podcasts
Stream live shopping shows
Produce broadcast productions
Host large creative events
Teams can even rent multiple spaces and move between them throughout the day, building an entire production workflow in one location.
And when the production ends, the transformation begins again.
Twelve hours later the studio might look completely different.
